Overview
The Mizoram Provisional Employees Savings Scheme is a state-level savings initiative by the Government of Mizoram. It is designed for provisional or contractual employees of the state government, helping them build financial security through regular savings during their tenure.

The scheme aims to promote a savings habit among provisional government employees who do not have access to regular pension or provident fund benefits. It helps them accumulate funds for post-service financial needs.

Eligibility

- Employees on regular or permanent rolls may not be covered under this scheme
Exclusions
- Permanent state government employees covered under GPF or NPS are excluded
- Daily wage workers not on the state payroll may not qualify
- Employees who have resigned or been terminated before completing minimum service
Application Process
- Submit enrollment form to the head of department or salary drawing officer
- Specify the monthly savings contribution amount
- Deductions begin from the following salary cycle
- Savings are maintained in a designated account under the scheme
- Apply for withdrawal at the end of service or as per scheme rules
