Mini Tractor Scheme for SC Self Help Groups Maharashtra
Overview
This scheme by the Government of Maharashtra provides mini tractors and agricultural sub-parts to self-help groups (SHGs) of Scheduled Caste (SC) farmers. It aims to mechanize small-scale farming and improve agricultural productivity among economically disadvantaged SC communities.

Eligibility

Exclusions
- SHGs with members from non-SC communities are not covered
- Groups with prior defaults on government-supported loans or assets
- SHGs not registered with the relevant state authority
Application Process
- Registered SHG submits application to the district Social Welfare Officer
- Application is scrutinized for eligibility criteria
- Selected SHGs are placed on the approved beneficiary list
- Mini tractor is procured through state empaneled suppliers and handed over
- Usage and maintenance records must be submitted periodically
