Mahila Samriddhi Yojana BC Women Loan Haryana
Overview
Mahila Samriddhi Yojana for Backward Classes is a Haryana government scheme that offers savings-linked loans to women from backward class communities. It is implemented through the Haryana Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections Kalyan Nigam.
The scheme combines the discipline of savings with access to credit, creating a sustainable model that promotes financial inclusion and entrepreneurship among BC women across Haryana.
Objective
The scheme aims to empower backward class women financially by helping them establish or grow income-generating activities. It recognizes that women entrepreneurs in BC communities often lack access to institutional finance due to documentation and collateral barriers.
