Vehicle Loan for Commercial Hiring – PwD Scheme Haryana

Overview

This Haryana government scheme provides financial assistance to Persons with Disabilities (PwD) who want to purchase a vehicle for commercial hiring purposes. It enables PwD individuals to earn a livelihood through transport services such as taxi or goods vehicle operation.

The scheme is administered by the Haryana Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation or a similar nodal body.

Objective

The objective is to provide a self-employment avenue to PwD individuals through commercial vehicle ownership. By financing the vehicle purchase, the scheme enables persons with disabilities to operate their own transport business and achieve financial independence.

Eligibility

• Annual income within the prescribed ceiling

Exclusions

• Persons without a valid disability certificate are not eligible
• Non-residents of Haryana are excluded
• Applicants with existing government loan defaults
• Purchase of personal-use (non-commercial) vehicles is not covered

Application Process

1. Visit the District Social Welfare Office or concerned corporation in Haryana
2. Obtain and fill the application form
3. Attach vehicle quotation and required documents
4. Submit to the concerned authority
5. On approval, loan is sanctioned and disbursed
