Overview
Swayam Saksham Yojana is a loan scheme run by the Gujarat Tribal Kalyan Vikas Nigam (GTKVN) to support self-employment among tribal women. It gives women from Scheduled Tribe communities access to credit for starting or growing small businesses or income-generating activities, empowering them economically within their own communities.

The scheme aims to strengthen economic independence among tribal women in Gujarat. By providing loans with manageable terms, it helps women set up micro enterprises, reducing financial dependence and improving household income in tribal areas across the state.

Eligibility
- Women belonging to Scheduled Tribe communities in Gujarat
- Age between 18 and 55 years

- Must be a resident of Gujarat
Exclusions
- Non-tribal women are not covered under this scheme
- Applicants who have defaulted on earlier government-sponsored loans
- Women whose proposed activity does not qualify as a productive enterprise under GTKVN norms
Application Process
- Visit the nearest GTKVN district or taluka office
- Obtain and fill the Swayam Saksham Yojana application form
- Attach the required documents and submit to the office
- GTKVN officials assess the application and proposed activity
- Loan is sanctioned and disbursed to the applicant’s bank account after approval

- Tribal (ST) caste certificate
- Aadhaar card and proof of Gujarat residence
- Income certificate of the family
- Bank account passbook
- Description or plan for the proposed business activity
- Passport-sized photographs
