Eligibility

• Applicant must be an Indian citizen
• Age between 18 and 45 years

Exclusions

• Non-citizens are not eligible
• Courses not recognized by NSDC or approved Sector Skill Councils are not covered
• Applicants who have already completed a similar course funded under this scheme may not reapply
• Loans are not provided for courses that are informal or non-certified

Application Process

1. Identify an NSDC-affiliated training center and course
2. Get a confirmation of enrollment from the training center
3. Approach a scheduled commercial bank or cooperative bank that participates in this scheme
4. Fill out the skill loan application form
5. Loan is sanctioned and disbursed directly to the training institute or borrower as applicable
