Overview
The Shravanbal Seva State Pension Scheme is an old age social security scheme run by the Government of Maharashtra. Eligibility
- Age 65 years or above at the time of application

- No regular employment income or government pension from any source
- Must not be simultaneously receiving Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS) or any equivalent scheme
Exclusions
- Senior citizens already receiving IGNOAPS or a comparable central government pension
- Elderly persons with regular income from employment, business, or property
- Those who do not satisfy the age requirement or the Maharashtra residency condition
Application Process
- Visit the local gram panchayat, municipal office, or the District Social Welfare Office
- Collect and fill the pension application form at the office
- Attach all required documents for submission and verification
- Local officials verify the application, age, income, and residency status
- Approved beneficiaries are enrolled and receive monthly pension via DBT

- Maharashtra domicile or residency certificate
- Income certificate issued by the tehsildar or competent authority
- Bank account or post office account passbook for direct transfer
