The Pashu Palan Yojana, implemented by the Gujarat Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Kalyan Vikas Nigam (GSKVN), provides loans to SC and ST families for animal husbandry activities. It supports the purchase of cattle, buffaloes, goats, and other livestock to generate sustainable income.

The scheme aims to improve the economic condition of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe households by promoting animal husbandry. By providing affordable credit, it helps families set up small livestock units that generate regular income.

Eligibility

Exclusions
- Non-SC/ST applicants are not eligible
- Applicants exceeding the income limit are excluded
- Those with existing defaults on GSKVN loans may not qualify
- Large-scale commercial dairy or poultry farms are not covered under this scheme
Application Process
- Contact the nearest GSKVN office or taluka-level development officer
- Obtain and fill out the Pashu Palan Yojana application form
- Submit the form with all required documents
- GSKVN reviews and verifies the application
- Loan is disbursed to purchase livestock after approval
