The Odisha State Treatment Fund (OSTF) is a health welfare scheme by the Government of Odisha. It provides financial assistance to residents who need costly medical treatment for serious illnesses that cannot be adequately covered by regular health insurance or government schemes.
The fund is managed by the state health department and is meant to fill the gap for treatments not covered under other public health programs.

- Non-residents of Odisha are not eligible
Application Process
- Obtain an application form from the District Collector’s office or the health department
- Get the medical certificate and treatment estimate from the treating hospital
- Submit the filled application form along with documents to the District Collector or Chief District Medical Officer
- The application is reviewed and forwarded for approval
- Approved funds are released directly to the hospital or to the beneficiary
