Overview
The Direct Finance Scheme by the National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC), implemented through the Gujarat Scheduled Caste Development Corporation (GSCDC), provides direct loans to Scheduled Caste individuals in Gujarat. The scheme helps SC communities access institutional credit for self-employment and income-generating activities.

The scheme aims to promote economic empowerment of Scheduled Caste communities by making credit directly available through the state channel partner. It supports small businesses, trades, and service activities that generate sustainable livelihoods.

Eligibility

Exclusions
- Non-SC applicants are not eligible
- Applicants exceeding the income limit set by NSFDC are excluded
- Those with defaults on previous NSFDC or GSCDC loans may not qualify
- Non-productive or speculative activities are not financed
Application Process
- Visit the nearest GSCDC district office
- Obtain and fill out the Direct Finance Scheme application form
- Submit with all required documents
- GSCDC reviews and forwards the application to NSFDC for processing
- Loan is disbursed to the applicant’s account after approval
