Overview

Mukhyamantri Gramin Street Vendor Rin Yojana is a Madhya Pradesh government scheme that provides collateral-free loans to street vendors in rural areas. Objective

Eligibility

• Street vendors residing and operating in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh
• Age between 18 and 55 years
• Vendors identified through gram panchayat or local survey
• Vendors engaged in petty trade, selling vegetables, fruits, small goods, and similar items

Exclusions

• Urban street vendors are not covered under this rural scheme
• Vendors already availing PM SVANidhi scheme benefits may face restrictions
• Those with a history of loan defaults with government financial institutions

Application Process

1. Register at the gram panchayat office or through the Urban Development and Housing Department portal
2. Get a vendor certificate from the town or village vending committee
3. Apply at the nearest empanelled bank or cooperative society
4. Submit all required documents
5. Loan is processed and disbursed within the prescribed time
