Overview
Mukhyamantri Aarthik Kalyan Yojana is a self-employment scheme launched by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It provides small loans at subsidized rates to individuals from low-income backgrounds who want to start micro enterprises or small businesses.
The scheme targets people who lack access to formal credit and aims to mainstream them into the economic system through entrepreneurship.

Eligibility
- Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh
- Age between 18 and 55 years
- Annual family income below the prescribed limit (as set by state government)
- Should not be a defaulter on any existing government loan scheme
Exclusions
- Applicants who already run a business supported by another government loan scheme may not qualify
- Those with income above the stipulated limit are not eligible
- Applicants with a history of loan default may be rejected
Application Process
- Visit the nearest District Trade and Industry Centre (DTIC) or apply through the Madhya Pradesh government portal
- Fill the application form with personal, business, and financial details
- Attach all supporting documents
- Submit the form and await verification by the concerned department
- Loan is sanctioned and disbursed after approval
