Eligibility

Exclusions
- Women who are not members of a DCCB-linked SHG cannot apply directly
- SHGs with poor loan repayment history may not be sanctioned
- Repeat applicants within a short period may face restrictions
- The loan cannot be used for purposes other than maternity-related expenses
Application Process
- Approach your SHG leader or group facilitator
- The SHG applies on behalf of the member to the linked DCCB
- The bank reviews the SHG’s credit history and the applicant’s eligibility
- Loan is sanctioned in the name of the SHG and passed to the individual member
- Funds are disbursed quickly given the urgent nature of maternity needs
