Kera Suraksha Insurance Scheme | Coconut Palm Coverage

Overview

Kera Suraksha is a coconut palm insurance scheme implemented by the Coconut Development Board of India. It provides insurance coverage to coconut farmers for loss of palms due to natural disasters, disease, or pest attacks. The scheme is available nationally and is especially relevant for farmers in Kerala and other coconut-growing states.

Objective

The scheme protects coconut farmers from financial loss when their palms are damaged or destroyed by unforeseen events.
