Karma Veer Gaikwad Yojana Maharashtra SC Farmers Land Loan

Overview

Karma Veer Dadasaheb Gaikwad Sabalikaran and Swabhiman Yojana is a Maharashtra government scheme that helps landless Scheduled Caste farmers purchase agricultural land. Named after the social reformer Dadasaheb Gaikwad, it addresses one of the deepest structural causes of poverty in SC communities: the historical exclusion from land ownership and control over agricultural resources.

Objective

The scheme enables SC farmers to own land and gain economic independence through agriculture. By combining loan and subsidy support through the government, it empowers families who have historically been denied land ownership and helps them build a sustainable agricultural livelihood.
