GUEEDC Gujarat Pilot Training Loan for Unreserved Students
Overview
The Loan for Training of Commercial Pilot is provided by the Gujarat Unreserved Educational and Economic Development Corporation (GUEEDC). It assists students from economically weaker sections of the unreserved category who wish to pursue commercial pilot training from a recognized aviation institution.
This scheme addresses the high cost of pilot training, making aviation careers accessible to deserving students.
Objective
GUEEDC aims to support talented students from economically weaker sections of the general (unreserved) category who aspire to careers in commercial aviation. The loan covers the significant cost of obtaining a commercial pilot license (CPL) from DGCA-approved institutes.

Eligibility
- Permanent resident of Gujarat from the unreserved (general) category

- Must have secured admission to a DGCA-approved flying training institute
- Minimum academic qualification: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics
- Age as specified in GUEEDC guidelines
Exclusions
- Applicants from SC, ST, OBC categories (covered by other corporations)
- Family income above the prescribed ceiling
- Training at non-DGCA-approved institutions
- Students who have defaulted on previous GUEEDC or government loans
Application Process
- Contact GUEEDC’s office in Gandhinagar or the nearest district office
- Collect and fill in the prescribed application form
- Attach admission proof from a DGCA-approved institute
- Submit along with all documents to the corporation
- Application is reviewed and verified by GUEEDC officials
- Loan is sanctioned and disbursed to the training institution or student

- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
