Overview

The Gujarat Backward Classes Development Corporation (GBCDC) provides micro finance loans to individuals belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) in Gujarat. The scheme makes small credit available to those who are excluded from conventional banking channels.

• Loans for speculative or non-productive activities are not provided

Application Process

1. Visit the nearest GBCDC district office or authorized service center
2. Obtain and complete the micro finance application form
3. Submit the form with supporting documents
4. GBCDC verifies the application and assesses the proposed activity
5. Loan is disbursed to the applicant’s bank account after approval
