Eligibility
- Applicant must belong to a notified minority community (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Zoroastrian, Jain)
- Annual family income should be within the prescribed ceiling
- Must have secured admission in a recognized institution
- Minimum academic qualifications as required for the course
- Indian citizen residing in India
Exclusions
- Students not belonging to notified minority groups are ineligible
- Courses from unrecognized institutions are not covered
- Families with income above the ceiling do not qualify
- Applicants already availing similar loans from another government source
Application Process
- Contact the State Channelizing Agency for minorities in your state
- Collect and fill the NMDFC education loan application form
- Submit the form with required documents
- SCA evaluates the application and forwards to NMDFC
- Loan is sanctioned and disbursed upon approval
