Exclusions

  • Civilian employees of the Ministry of Defence are generally not covered
  • Loans taken for commercial property are excluded
  • Defence personnel who have already received housing benefits under other central schemes may be ineligible
  • Loans not from recognized lending institutions are not covered

Application Process

  1. Obtain the application form from the Kendriya Sainik Board or the respective service headquarters
  2. Complete the form with accurate loan and property details
  3. Attach all supporting documents
  4. Submit to the nodal officer at your unit or zila sainik board
  5. Application is reviewed and forwarded to the Ministry of Defence
  6. Subsidy is disbursed directly to the lending institution against the loan account
