Overview
The Chief Minister’s Startup, Innovation Projects, and New Industries scheme is a Himachal Pradesh government initiative designed to support entrepreneurs who want to establish innovative businesses or new industrial units in the state.

Eligibility
- Individual entrepreneurs, partnerships, or companies registered in Himachal Pradesh
- Business must qualify as a startup or new industrial unit under state definitions
- Applicant must be a resident of Himachal Pradesh or committed to establishing operations there
- Age and income criteria as defined by the implementing department
Exclusions
- Businesses already established elsewhere without a Himachal Pradesh operational base
- Applicants with existing unresolved loan defaults
- Sectors explicitly excluded under the current state industrial policy
Application Process
Applications are submitted through the Himachal Pradesh state single window clearance system or directly to the Department of Industries. A review committee evaluates the proposal and decides on loan sanction.
Applicants from scheduled caste backgrounds may also access additional support through the Himachal Pradesh Scheduled Caste Finance Corporation if eligible.
