How to Fill PF Form 19 (Online via UAN Portal)

Prerequisites:

  • UAN activated
  • Aadhaar, PAN, mobile number, bank account linked and verified
  • Employer has updated exit date

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Visit: https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in
  2. Login with UAN and password
  3. Go to Online Services → Claim (Form 31, 19, 10C, 10D)
  4. Select “Only PF Withdrawal (Form 19)”
  5. Verify pre-filled details like name, bank, PAN
  6. Enter the last 4 digits of your bank account
  7. Choose reason for leaving job
  8. Request OTP and submit claim
  9. Track status under “Online Services → Track Claim Status”

  • Amount is directly credited to your bank account

Tax Tip

  • If service < 5 years, TDS applies:
    • 10% with PAN,
    • 30% without PAN
  • Use Form 15G to avoid TDS (if income below taxable limit)
