- Submit—usually gets processed within 48 hours.
ATM
- Go to your bank’s ATM.
- Select Services → Registrations → Aadhaar Registration.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and confirm.
- You’ll get an SMS confirmation.
Branch Visit
- Visit your bank branch with Aadhaar (original + copy) and passbook.
- Fill out and submit a linking form.
- Bank will seed your Aadhaar and send SMS confirmation.
How to Check Aadhaar‑Bank Linking Status
a) UIDAI Website (or myAadhaar Portal)
- Go to UIDAI → My Aadhaar → Bank Seeding Status or use the DBT Bharat portal.
- Enter your Aadhaar, security code, receive OTP, and submit.
- You’ll see:
- Masked Aadhaar
- Status: Linked or Not linked
- Bank name
- Linking date.
b) mAadhaar App
- Log in → My Aadhaar → Aadhaar–Bank Acc Link Status.
- Enter details, OTP, and view status.
c) USSD from Mobile
- From your Aadhaar‑registered mobile, dial:
*99*99*1#
- Enter Aadhaar number twice.
- The linked bank account name and status are shown instantly.
d) Offline – Bank Branch
- Visit your bank and request Aadhaar seeding verification.
- The bank will confirm whether it’s linked or not.
