Form 15G

Form 15G is a self-declaration form that allows individuals below 60 years of age to request non-deduction of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) on certain incomes, including premature Provident Fund (PF) withdrawals. By submitting this form, eligible individuals can ensure that no TDS is deducted from their PF withdrawal amount.

When Should You Submit Form 15G for PF Withdrawal?

You should submit Form 15G when:

  • Your total PF withdrawal exceeds ₹50,000, and
  • Your total annual income is below the taxable limit (currently ₹2.5 lakh), and
