EPF Form 10C is a claim form under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS). It allows you to either:
- Withdraw your pension contributions (if you have less than 10 years of service), or
- Obtain a Scheme Certificate (to preserve pension service history for future employment).
Who is Eligible?
You fall into one of these categories:
- Member Type 1:
- Left service before completing 10 years, or
- Reached age 58 before completing 10 years.
- Member Type 2:
- Completed 10 years of service before age 50; or
- Age between 50–58 but does not want reduced pension.
→ Can get a Scheme Certificate only (no withdrawal).
- Member Type 3:
- Legal heir or nominee of a deceased member aged over 58 but with under 10 years of service.
→ Eligible for withdrawal by beneficiary.

Documents Needed
- Blank or cancelled cheque (for bank details),
- Revenue stamp of ₹1,
- Birth certificate (if child seeking Scheme Certificate),
- Death and succession certificate (for legal heirs),
- Employer attestation (if offline) or self attestation online.
How to File (Online or Offline)
Online via EPFO e‑SEWA:
- Log in using UAN, password, and captcha.
- Navigate to Online Services → Claim Form (Form‑31/19/10C/10D).
- Verify KYC, bank details (last 4 digits), and type of claim.
- Select “Withdraw Pension Only” (Form 10C) or “Scheme Certificate.”
- Submit OTP for confirmation.
- Track status; funds are usually credited in a few days to weeks.
Offline:
- Download or obtain the form from EPFO office.
- Fill it out, attach documents, get employer attestation or authority if employer closed.
- Submit at the EPFO regional office.
