A mobile trading app is designed for a phone’s smaller screen, prioritising simplicity and quick access to core functions like placing orders, checking positions, and viewing basic charts, generally trading off some of that multi-panel depth for portability and ease of use on the go. Both usually connect to the same underlying account and reflect the same real-time positions and balances, so a trade placed on one shows up instantly on the other. You use the web terminal when you’re doing more detailed, multi-stock analysis at a desk, and the mobile app when you need to check on positions or react quickly while away from a computer.
