How can I add money to a trading account?
You add funds through the broker’s app or web platform using the payment gateway option, most commonly UPI, net banking, or a direct bank transfer via NEFT/RTGS/IMPS from your linked bank account. UPI is usually the fastest for smaller amounts, often reflecting within a few minutes, while net banking and IMPS also tend to be quick, whereas NEFT can take longer, especially outside banking hours. Funds can generally only be added from a bank account that’s registered and linked to your trading account, as a security measure to prevent third-party deposits, so a transfer from an unlinked account may not get credited automatically. You check the payment confirmation and the trading account balance separately, since a successful UPI payment on your banking app doesn’t always mean the funds have reflected in your trading balance immediately.
