Secure your SBI debit card with a four-digit PIN easily and safely. SBI offers multiple methods—from SMS and ATM to online banking and call centers.
1. Generate PIN via SBI ATM (Green PIN)
- Visit any SBI ATM.
- Insert your debit card & choose “PIN Generation” or “Set PIN”.
- Enter your 11-digit account number and registered mobile number.
- Receive an OTP (Green PIN) on your mobile.
- Re-insert card, select Banking → PIN Change.
- Enter the OTP, then choose and confirm your new 4-digit PIN.
- Confirmation SMS follows.
2. Generate PIN via SMS
- Send from your registered mobile:
PIN <last 4 digits of card> <last 4 digits of account>
to 567676. - You’ll get an OTP (Green PIN) valid for 2 days.
- Visit any SBI ATM, follow PIN Generation, validate OTP, and set your PIN.
3. Generate PIN via Internet Banking
- Log in at OnlineSBI.
- Navigate: e-Services → ATM Card Services → ATM PIN Generation.
- Choose authentication: OTP or Profile Password.
- Input your chosen PIN or part of it; remaining digits will be sent via SMS.
- Enter the full PIN as prompted.
- Confirmation appears online and via SMS.
4. Generate PIN via YONO or SBI Quick App
- Open YONO app and log in.
- Go to Cards → My Debit Card → Set/Reset ATM PIN.
- Enter and confirm your 4-digit PIN.
- Verify via OTP sent to your mobile.
- Success message appears on screen and via SMS.
5. Generate PIN via Customer Care (IVR)
- Call from your registered mobile:
1800 1234 / 1800 2100 / 1800 425 3800 / 1800 11 2211 / 080‑26599990. - Select language, then:
ATM & Prepaid Card Services → Generate Green PIN - Input card/account details as prompted.
- Receive OTP via SMS.
- Visit ATM within 2 days, use PIN Change, validate OTP, and set your PIN.
6. Branch or Kiosk-Based PIN Generation
Prefer in-person assistance?
- Branch: Fill out PIN generation form with debit card and ID. Wait for SMS or receive PIN directly.
- GCC/Kiosk: Swipe your card, request Green PIN generation, enter mobile/account details. Use OTP at ATM to set PIN.
PIN Reset / Regeneration
Already have a PIN but want to change it?
- Use Internet Banking: Navigate to ATM PIN Reset/Regeneration under Cards. Obtain OTP and complete ATM-based PIN set.
- You can also visit an ATM and use PIN Change after OTP generation.
