1. Generate via Bank of India ATM
- Insert and remove your debit card at any Bank of India ATM.
- Select language, then tap “(Forgot/Create PIN) Green PIN”.
- Choose Generate OTP → receive a 6-digit OTP on your registered mobile.
- Reinsert card, select language, choose Green PIN → Validate OTP.
- Enter OTP → then set your new 4-digit PIN, and re-enter to confirm.
- You’ll see “PIN changed successfully”—your card is ready to use immediately.
⚠️ Your mobile must be registered with BOI, and Green PIN is available only at BOI ATMs. It’s also valid for blocked or inactive cards and will reactivate them post-PIN update.
2. Via SMS (Generate OTP)
- Send from your registered mobile: nginxCopyEdit
PIN <last4 of card> <last4 of account>
to 567676. - You’ll receive an OTP (valid 2 days).
- Visit a BOI ATM and complete the Green PIN steps above using this OTP.
3. Via Customer Care (IVR)
- Call 1800‑103‑1906 from your registered phone.
- Navigate to ATM/Prepaid Card Services → Generate Green PIN.
- Provide card and account details.
- You’ll receive an OTP via SMS (valid 2 days).
- Use at BOI ATM to complete PIN generation.
4. Online (Net Banking / Mobile App)
- Log in to BOI Internet Banking.
- Navigate to Cards → ATM PIN Generation.
- Select your card, enter card number/CVV, grid values, and request OTP.
- Enter OTP and create your new PIN. Confirmation will be sent via app, SMS, and email.
Alternatively, use the BOI Mobile App under Cards → PIN Generation and follow similar steps.
